Heat styling a synthetic wig

Lush wigs are made of a high temperature synthetic fibre that can be heated to 140°C (284°F).

Use ceramic heat styling tools

Ceramic heat tools offer even heat distribution with adjustable temperature settings, allowing you to customize the heat up to 140c, but never above this setting as going any hotter could melt the fibers.
Note: This is the lowest setting on most hair tools. Please check your tools specifications before styling your wig.

Look for safety certifications like CE (Conformité Européenne) or BS EN (British Standard European Norm) which indicate the appliance meets safety standards.

Heat protection

Before applying any heat to your wig, for best results use a leave-in-conditioner or a heat protection spray for synthetic wigs to add extra protection.

Allow Sufficient Cooling Time

After heat styling, allow your wig to cool down. This cooling period helps the hairstyle set.
